Product Description Single Spot Light with Electronic Transformer. Engineered with an integral transformer and designed for mounting to walls or ceilings, low and line voltage Display Spot Lights deploy optimal accent lighting from surface mounted canopies that can be custom designed with any of WAC low voltage track heads. From the Manufacturer The WAC Lighting ME-808-BK Mounted 1-Light Surface Directional Spot Light in the Black finish can be mounted to the wall or the ceiling, and the base covers a standard 4-Inch junction box. This is ideally suited for illuminating areas that have limited space, and require plenty of light. The directional head just gives you more flexibility as to how or where you want the area to be illuminated, using the 350-Degree horizontal rotation and the 90-Degree vertical aiming capabilities. The ME-808-BK is constructed of die-cast aluminum finished in an abrasion resistant powder coat Black finish with bi-pin ceramic socket and 18 gauge Teflon insulated wires, with fiberglass sleeves. The integrated 12V Electronic LV transformer has auto reset, soft start, and short circuit protection features, and is dimmable using an Electronic Low Voltage dimmer. Electronic transformer soft start feature is designed to protect lamps from abrupt inrush current. The solid state circuitry promotes cool and quiet operation. The ME-808-BK comes one per package, (1) tempered clear glass lens, (2) aiming screws, and requires one 50-Watt MR16 Halogen bulb (not included). Additional special lens types such as spread lenses and UV lenses can be ordered from WAC separately and used in place of the supplied clear lens. The two aiming screws (one on each side of the fixture) allow for locking the fixture aiming angle into place.
