Recovery Drive for Microsoft Surface Book 3

This product allows you to restore your Microsoft Surface device to its factory settings (as new) in the following situations:

* HDD or SSD replacement resulted in poor performance.
* You want to revert to the original OS after a Windows upgrade.
* The computer won't start (see image 1).
* Surface is slow and freezes.
* Virus infection.

By inserting this recovery drive USB memory (16GB) into your Surface's USB port and turning it on, the recovery screen will appear, allowing you to restore your device as desired (see images 2, 3, and 4). While recovery is successful over 90% of the time, it may fail if there is a critical hardware issue with the Surface. You can also access the UEFI settings from the recovery screen (image 5).

While a recovery drive for a standard PC can be created with around 8GB, Surface devices require a recovery drive of 10GB or more for a complete recovery. Therefore, this recovery drive is created using a 16GB USB drive.

After purchase, we may ask for your product name and serial number. The serial number is a 12-digit number located near the Windows logo on the Surface device's kickstand (image 6). Alternatively, the serial number can be found by pressing and holding the volume up button while turning on the Surface, which will display the UEFI screen (image 7). We may request either of these serial numbers.
