The best way to maintain and clean copper is by wiping the surface using regular soap and water and dry it using a soft rug. Waxing the copper will maintain the copper finish and luster for a period of time.Our sinks come with a connecting ring that acts as an interface between the rounded bottom of the basin and the flat counter top for easy installation. It serves both as the drain opening as well as the anchoring mechanism that holds the sink in place on the counter top. A mounting bottom ring is not necessary and may be added for additional sink security.
