A Geodesic Globe, Precisely Engineered by R.B. FullerAssembly kit of a polyhedron globe composed of 80 triangles which is extremely close to a spherical globe. Originally invented by one R.B. Fuller to aid in the construction of large domes, this paper model sphere, comprised of 80 equally sized triangles, is designed according to geodesic dome theory. Inside of the globe is printed the internal structure of Earth as shown in the picture above. Employing an innovative foil technique, detailed info (names of nations, cities, oceans, islands, lines of longitude & latitude, etc.) is depicted in silver. Cold Foil printing makes it possible to express gradation by halftone dots, which is difficult to do with ordinary hot stamp processing.
