It bores a clean hole in a carpet while serving as a drill bit guide to prevent carpet snags and snowballs while drilling through underlying wood flooring. The carpet cutter and drill guide features a hardened steel serrated blade that cuts easily through carpet and pad with a one handed twisting motion, eliminating the need for a hammer. The blade also produces a carpet plug that can be replaced without detection should the drop location change. The CPR-4375 is the perfect helper for installing drop cable.
